Toymaker Honors First Black Woman Aviator With a Barbie

Imagine being a young girl with a dream of flying but being unable to pursue it because of your gender and the color of your skin. High-flying icon Bessie Coleman met these challenges and defied these odds, becoming the first Black and Native American female aviator in the United States. 

And now she has been immortalized as a Barbie doll....
