Frank Wada was only 21 when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. He was getting ready to go to a football game in San Diego when he heard the news. 

“We heard (about) it on the radio, and we decided that day to better not go (to the game) — because this was a Navy town,” Frank said.
